Tsambika has the space and easy water that many smaller Rhodes coves lack. Families can settle near facilities, while the beach remains long enough to walk beyond the busiest clusters. The monastery high above gives the bay its defining landmark.
The beach and monastery are separate undertakings. Climb early with water, secure shoes and modest clothing, then swim after returning; do not attempt exposed steps in midday heat. On the shore, respect marked water-sports lanes and lifeguards. Arrive before late-morning traffic if straightforward parking matters.
