Earn a quieter swim on foot, but treat heat and the return walk as seriously as the water
The appeal is precisely what the beach lacks: no road-front businesses, ranks of loungers or constant movement. The trail and open terrain make it a better choice in the morning than at midday, and the small shore can change character with wind.
Use an offline map, wear closed shoes and carry more water than the swim seems to require. Do not attempt the route with mobility limitations or very young children without current local advice. Leave no waste and turn back if heat or wayfinding becomes uncertain.
