Spilia Beach

Spilia is a compact white-pebble cove near Agios Georgios, known for transparent water and a natural recess at one end of the shore.

Our take

Walk from the port for Agathonisi's easiest independent beach day, bringing the shade the small cove cannot promise

Spilia is close enough to the port to work on arrival day, yet its pale stones and clear bay feel separate from the quay. The beach is small and mostly natural; aqua shoes make the entry easier, while the recess at the edge should never be treated as guaranteed all-day shade.

Carry water, sun protection and anything children need. There is no dependable lifeguard or organised service, and wash from boats can reach the cove. Go early, avoid removing stones and leave if wind makes the entry uncomfortable.
