Karavostasi sits below Perdika on a broad open bay. Its length gives swimmers more room than the pocket beaches around Syvota, while seasonal hotels and beach bars cover practical needs. The open view and clear water are the main draw.
Depth increases quickly, and west wind can build waves across the bay. Families should stay in supervised sections and check flags. The descent from Perdika is steep, making a car or taxi much more realistic than walking in summer heat.
