Leftos Gialos is a polished east-coast cove with bright pebble, clear water and seasonal tavernas looking toward two offshore islets.
Our take
White pebble and olive shade facing the Two Brothers islets
Leftos Gialos sits below olives and pines on Alonnisos's east side. Pale pebble gives the water a green-blue clarity, and the Two Brothers islets sit directly offshore. Seasonal tavernas and loungers make the compact bay comfortable but busy.
The beach becomes deep within a short distance and boats anchor outside. Water shoes help, while early arrival secures both parking and shade. Wildlife in the marine-park region should be observed from a respectful distance.
