Porto Limnionas

Porto Limnionas has no conventional beach: visitors enter deep clear water from rocks and platforms reached by a winding cross-island road.

Our take

A rocky west-coast inlet for confident swimmers

Porto Limnionas is a narrow rocky inlet on Zakynthos's west coast rather than a sand or pebble beach. Steps and platforms lead toward luminous deep water, caves and ledges, with a seasonal taverna above.

This is unsuitable for small children or anyone needing a gentle entry. Surfaces are slippery, ladders may be crowded and swell enters the channel quickly. Never jump without checking depth and boat movement, and leave immediately if operators close access because of weather.
