Vitali is a clear, deep-water cove with rock arches and a seasonal beach bar, reached after a demanding final road from Gavrio.
Our take
A deep pebble bay reached through Andros's rough northeast
Vitali lies in a narrow northeast valley where pale pebble meets deep blue water. Rock formations frame one end, and a seasonal concession provides shade and food without occupying the whole shore.
The road becomes rough and narrow, while the beach is exposed to the meltemi. Check both conditions locally, wear shoes on the pebble and avoid swimming around the headland when wind or swell is present.
