Zorkos Beach

Zorkos offers sand, fine pebble and clear water in an undeveloped bay, reached by a long dirt road that should be checked after wind or rain.

Our take

A large northern Andros bay beyond the paved road

Zorkos sits at the remote northern end of Andros. The generous bay mixes sand and small pebble, with bare hills behind and a seasonal taverna near the main access. Its distance from the island's towns is responsible for both the space and the logistical effort.

The final road is unpaved and conditions change each season. Ask locally before setting out in a small rental, carry supplies and avoid the beach under strong north wind, when waves and the return drive are both less forgiving.
