A close-to-town cove for a simple swim without committing the whole day to transport
Zepagas is valuable because it sits close enough to the settlement for a spontaneous swim. The cove has a pebble character and clear water, with a view back toward the island's inhabited coast. It is a better fit for travellers who want to walk from town than more remote shores, although summer heat and the return slope still require honest assessment.
Treat the beach as lightly serviced and bring water, shade and footwear suitable for pebbles. Confirm the path locally, avoid shortcuts through private land and carry a torch if returning near dusk. There is no reason to expect a lifeguard, locker or regular food outlet. Check wind and water before entering, keep away from small craft using the coast and leave the shore exactly as found.
