A peaceful pool tucked behind the life of Dapia
Armata Boutique Hotel is barely a few minutes from Dapia, yet its pool courtyard feels agreeably detached from ferry arrivals and waterfront tables. The 20 rooms use soft colours and restrained island details, with categories facing the pool, town or Bouboulina’s Museum. Breakfast is a genuine strength: generous, varied and made with enough care to discourage the morning dash for a harbour café. The owner-led team brings the place to life, helping with beach boats, bicycles and restaurant choices while preserving the easy atmosphere of a small hotel. Returning for a quiet swim after an island ride is a particular pleasure.
Rooms are compact, especially the standard doubles, and only named categories have a sea, museum or pool outlook. There is no full restaurant, spa or beachfront, and the pool terrace is intimate rather than resort-sized. Spetses largely excludes visitor cars, so the Expedia parking label is less relevant than packing luggage that can travel from the ferry; arrange a porter or transfer if needed. Armata is Spetses Town’s best central boutique hotel with a pool for travellers who want Dapia on the doorstep but prefer to sleep and linger away from its busiest edge.
