A water's-edge table is one of the pleasures of sleeping in Assos, especially after day traffic thins. The family behind Nefeli-Anait has served the village since 1989. Ask what arrived fresh, confirm fish weight and price and balance seafood with salads and cooked vegetables. The setting can make an ordinary meal feel special, but it should not replace basic questions about ingredients.
Book ahead in July and August and mention if steps or uneven paving are difficult. Wind can force table changes. Hours contract sharply outside the main season, so call before relying on any specific waterfront business for dinner.
