Garden cooking and a long Ionian view above Exanthia
Rachi sits above Exanthia with an open view across the Ionian. The kitchen uses vegetables from its garden, local meat and a traditional wood-fired oven. The location is the main draw, but the restaurant works best when sunset is treated as part of a full meal rather than a quick photo stop.
Reserve where possible and arrive with enough time to park at the village entrance. Tables cannot all have the same outlook, and walk-in guests may wait at the adjoining bar. The mountain road is winding and dark after dinner, so nominate a driver or arrange transport before ordering wine.
