Windmill occupies a restored mill on Kontrona hill, reached by a steep walk above Skiathos Town and its harbour. Stone walls, white sails and widely spaced terrace tables frame a three-course dinner rather than the usual open-ended taverna order.
The menu runs from 6:45pm until the kitchen closes at 11pm, with meat, fish and composed desserts chosen as a set sequence. Book well ahead, request the honeymoon table only if the occasion warrants it and take a taxi if steep lanes pose a problem; portions can feel restrained for the price.
