The abandoned settlement of Port Leone preserves roofless stone houses and a restored church around a sheltered western bay.
Port Leone records wartime displacement and the changing geography of island life. Visit by boat or a demanding land route only with current local advice. Buildings are unstable private or communal remains, not a prepared archaeological site, so do not enter or climb them. Bring water, respect the church and leave mooring space for local and refuge-seeking vessels.
