Visit Therasia's abandoned cave-house settlement with local knowledge and no temptation to enter unstable interiors
Agrilia is compelling because its built landscape has not been restored into a visitor attraction. Cave houses and churches reveal an older settlement pattern, but abandonment, erosion and seismic risk make interiors dangerous. The route also gives a quieter view of Therasia's agricultural interior.
Seek current local guidance, walk in cool daylight and stay on established paths. Never enter or climb ruins, move objects or use drones around structures. Carry water and turn back if the route is unclear; emergency response is limited.
