Walk between two very different Parian villages
This short, beautiful route is one of the simplest ways to meet inland Paros at walking pace. The old stone path leaves amphitheatrical Lefkes, crosses cultivated country and descends towards Prodromos, where whitewashed lanes curl behind a gateway and bougainvillea. It is not a wilderness trek; its charm lies in reading the inhabited landscape between villages.
Allow time for coffee at one end and lunch at the other instead of treating it as exercise alone. Start early in warm weather, take water and use footwear that grips polished stone. Arrange a taxi or bus plan in advance if you do not intend to walk back.
