Trizonia Island Walking Circuit

Trizonia's path network allows visitors to cross the compact island on foot, linking the settlement, Pounta and quieter wooded shores.

Our take

Join beaches, olive groves and harbour viewpoints on a car-free circuit that fits comfortably into one morning

With no private car traffic, walking is the natural way to understand Trizonia. A flexible circuit passes harbour views, olive trees, pine cover and turns towards the southern beach. The distances are modest, but rough surfaces and summer sun prevent it from being a pavement stroll.

Start early, carry water and use a downloaded map where junctions are unclear. Keep gates as found, respect private gardens and bring a torch if returning after dinner. Families can shorten the route to Pounta and back rather than forcing a complete circuit in heat.
