Thidira occupies a tiny corner building beside Serifos's neoclassical town hall in Agios Athanasios Square. Its taproom idea is unusual for the islands: Greek craft beers share the focus with original cocktails, giving drinkers a reason to explore beyond a standard lager or spritz. Most of the experience unfolds outside, where the square, church and steep white lanes supply the atmosphere that the interior cannot contain.
Walk up before the late Chora crowd if you want help choosing a beer or a table with room around it. Later, the square becomes part of the bar and the energy is much greater.
