A wide, breezy bay built for easy access and water sports
Anavyssos is broad enough to absorb the weekend crowds that overwhelm smaller Riviera coves. The central shore is sandy and easy to reach, while organised areas provide equipment and food. On calm mornings it works well for families; when the breeze builds, boards and small sails become part of the scene.
Keep outside marked sport lanes and check flags before swimming far from shore. The open bay has little natural shade, so bring protection if you are not using a concession. Parking is easier than at compact coves but still competitive on peak Sundays.
