The simplest sea swim from central Athens
Edem's advantage is access. The tram stops close to the sand, the promenade links it with Flisvos and Alimos, and central Athens remains within easy reach. Locals use it for an early swim, a run or sunset walk rather than for isolation.
This is an urban waterfront beside marinas and roads, so check current bathing-water notices after heavy rain and keep expectations different from an island cove. Bring your own shade outside serviced patches and secure belongings when swimming.
