A smaller sandy stop on Rhodes's southeast coast
Glystra lies between the larger resort zones of Lardos and Kiotari. Low rock arms frame a pocket of sand, creating a more intimate beach day than the long hotel-backed shores nearby.
Recent storms and coastal works can alter the amount of usable sand, so judge the beach as you find it rather than relying on old photographs. Park only in signed areas, leave access clear for emergency vehicles and watch for rock underfoot at both ends.
