Kolymbithra Beach

Kolymbithra offers a sheltered organised cove and a larger surf-facing beach, allowing visitors to choose between easy swimming and wind-driven activity.

Our take

Two Tinos bays separated by one rocky headland

Kolymbithra is two beaches. The smaller inner bay is organised and relatively protected, while the longer outer shore faces north and has developed a surf scene around the meltemi. Both sit below the island's rounded granite hills.

Check which bay fits the forecast and your swimmers before settling. The outer beach can have strong waves and currents; the inner one fills earlier. Road access is straightforward by Tinos standards but summer parking remains limited.
