A pine-edged Riviera beach with an easy coastal walk
Megalo Kavouri wraps around a low peninsula south of Voula. Families gravitate to sandy sections, while confident swimmers use rockier entries farther along the coast. A promenade and cycle route make it possible to compare sections before choosing where to stop.
Some concessions provide summer comfort, but public space remains available. The shore is popular with Athenians at weekends, and parking disappears early. Bus access plus a walk is often less frustrating than circling the peninsula by car.
