A bright Sithonia bay with controlled summer access
North of Sarti, Platanitsi forms a broad sandy crescent between low rocky arms. The east-facing water is vivid in calm conditions, and a campground supplies most of the organised infrastructure behind the shore.
Public shoreline access does not mean unrestricted use of private campground parking or facilities. Ask at the gate about current entry arrangements, arrive before capacity is reached and keep receipts for any charge. Waves build quickly with onshore wind, particularly outside guarded sectors.
