A long village strand facing Mount Athos
Sarti's beach runs the length of the village and continues south, so it works equally well for a quick swim, a family day or a long morning walk. The northern section is close to tavernas; the broader southern sand creates more distance from the centre.
Conditions differ over a long frontage. Some sections shelve gently while others deepen sooner, and east wind can produce surf. Follow local flags, choose a serviced sector if you need a lifeguard and avoid leaving a car in narrow residential lanes.
