Panagia keeps portions blunt
Kanados runs a family taverna on the climb through Panagia, with outdoor seats along Poulidou Street and an unfussy room behind them. The menu covers moussaka, taramasalata, grilled meat and seafood; regular mentions go to sea bass, octopus, calamari and fried courgette.
The kitchen serves serious portions at modest prices, but a full terrace can stretch the wait to 30 or 40 minutes and one recent diner found the calamari batter heavy. Reserve before the evening rush, order cold meze first and ask which fish or grill can leave fastest.
What visitors say
Kanados rates 4.6 from about 319 Tripadvisor reviews and carries a 2025 Travelers' Choice award; food and value earn consistent support, with crowd-related waits the main recurring fault.
