Anemotrypa Cave

Anemotrypa Cave reveals coloured limestone, pools and an underground river on a guided route near Pramanta, making it a useful all-weather geology stop.

Our take

An underground river system just outside Pramanta

Anemotrypa lies a short drive from Pramanta and turns the mountain's abundant water into a compact underground experience. A guided path passes stalactites, coloured mineral formations, small pools and sections shaped by the river system. It is particularly useful on a trip dominated by high viewpoints because the cave explains what water is doing inside the limestone.

Entry is guided and capacity, hours or route access can change with water levels and maintenance. Telephone ahead rather than arriving at the end of the day. The cave is cool and damp even in summer; wear a layer and shoes with grip. Steps, low light and wet surfaces create accessibility constraints, so ask for exact route details if balance or mobility is limited. Do not touch formations or leave the authorised path.
