Paxos and Antipaxos Boat Day from Parga

Seasonal boats leave Parga for sea caves, Paxos ports and Antipaxos swimming, with routes and landing time governed by vessel and weather.

Our take

Choose a sea day for one clear purpose instead of treating two islands as a rushed checklist

A boat day can show the limestone coast and blue water that road trips from Parga cannot reach. Typical itineraries combine a cave pass, time in Gaios or another Paxos port and a swim near Antipaxos. The quality of the day depends less on the longest stop list than on vessel capacity, shade, boarding arrangements and enough time ashore to avoid sprinting through a village.

Compare operators at the harbour and ask for the licensed vessel name, passenger limit, toilet, shade, life jackets and exact landing plan before paying. Large excursion boats and small charters deliver very different experiences. Routes can change with wind and sea state, and swimming stops should never be guaranteed. Bring sun protection, water and motion-sickness medication if appropriate. Keep a separate ferry buffer: do not schedule this excursion on the day before an inflexible flight.
