A wild west-coast shore for sunsets, surf and space
Agios Theologos faces the open Aegean beyond Kefalos, far from Kos's long north-coast resorts. Low rocky shelves divide stretches of coarse sand, and the sunset view is excellent when weather allows a safe visit.
Waves and current are the defining facts here. Stay out when surf is breaking heavily, never swim alone and keep children at the water's edge only under close control. The rough approach and sparse phone coverage call for an unhurried drive, water and a vehicle suitable for the current road.
