Kos's busy south-coast beach for easy swimming and activities
Paradise Beach is one of the best-known stops on the Kefalos side of Kos. The shore is broad enough for rows of loungers and the sandy entry suits casual swimming, while excursion buses and water-sports operators give it a lively, commercial rhythm.
This is a convenient choice, not a quiet one. Stay inside marked swimming lanes, supervise children around powered craft and confirm the last bus if you are not driving. Northerly wind can still raise chop along the apparently protected southern coast.
