Apiganos suits visitors who have already tested the island's roads and want a less convenient shore than Bilali. The west-facing cove is commonly linked with the name Kastro and has a mixed natural shoreline rather than a long engineered beach. Its appeal is the absence of a busy commercial setup, but that same absence means the day depends on transport, shade and water brought from town.
Ask your host to confirm the current road and final approach before leaving, since mapping names are inconsistent and a pin does not describe surface condition. Do not expect food, toilets, showers or a lifeguard. Check wind and the sea on arrival; clear water can still conceal slippery rock or a quick change in depth. Park without blocking access, keep distance from private property and leave early enough to return before dusk.
