A fully serviced bay close to Plakias
Damnoni spreads across a broad bay east of Plakias, with pale sand, clear water and a more complete service offering than the smaller coves nearby. It works well for visitors who need food, parking and equipment within easy reach rather than a remote south-coast excursion.
The seabed becomes deeper beyond the initial entry and afternoon wind can change conditions. The far ends feel quieter but include rock and fewer facilities. Organised seating occupies substantial space in high season, though public access remains and independent towel areas can usually be found.
