Paros's broad windsurfing beach with room beyond the sails
Golden Beach is Paros's established windsurfing centre. Fine sand stretches along an open southeast-facing bay, and schools use the meltemi for lessons and advanced sailing. In lighter morning conditions, the gradual entry is comfortable for ordinary swimming.
Choose a section away from launch corridors if you are not participating in water sports. The long beach has both concessions and free sand, while bus and road access make it practical without staying nearby.
