Golden sand and spring-fed shallows beside Stoupa
Kalogria occupies the bay immediately north of Stoupa, backed by cafes and low accommodation rather than an open natural coast. Fine golden sand and freshwater springs help create clear, cool patches in the shallows, and the bay is compact enough to cross on foot.
Organised seating fills much of the shore during peak weeks and parking disappears early. Use marked swimming lanes around water-sports equipment, and do not assume the calm appearance means uniform temperature or depth near the springs. The public beach remains accessible even where businesses manage loungers.
