Make the first swim an easy walk from the harbour, with a second small cove waiting beyond the main shore
Kampi is the right arrival-day beach because it requires no vehicle or boat. Walk south from the port, choose the section clear of fishing activity and test the water before settling. The first bay has the easier beach setup; continuing a little farther reveals smaller coves and a quieter feel when conditions allow.
Keep well outside boat approaches and never swim behind a moving tender. Organisation changes with season, so bring water and shade rather than depending on a bar or lounger. Check the same-day wind in the harbour: even a short walk should not become an assumption about calm water. Return before dark because lanes and shore edges are uneven.
