A long sandy shore with lunch close at hand
Livadi stretches across one of Schinoussa's more generous bays. The route from Chora crosses open country before dropping to sand, and the beach feels less enclosed than Tsigouri. Trees provide pockets of shade and the water is often gentle near shore, which makes Livadi useful for families and anyone who wants to stay through lunch.
A seasonal café-restaurant sits beside the beach, but the bay remains simple rather than resort-like. Arrive with water, especially if you plan to walk back in the afternoon. The open aspect can become windy, so check the surface before committing to a full day and move to the opposite side of the island when the sea is unsettled.
