Livoskopos Beach

Livoskopos rewards an independent outing with pale sand and fewer visitors, but the exposed coast and sparse services require a calm forecast and preparation.

Our take

A north-coast beach that should be chosen for conditions, not completeness

Livoskopos sits apart from Anafi's south-coast sequence, which is precisely why it feels different. The north-facing bay has pale sand and a more removed setting, but it does not belong in a fixed beach checklist. Northerly wind can make the water and final approach unpleasant or unsafe even when Kleisidi is usable, so ask locally before committing and keep a south-coast alternative.

A vehicle or prearranged transfer is more reliable than expecting the summer beach bus, and the final road or track should be checked for current condition. Arrive with water, food, shade, a charged phone and enough fuel to return without finding a service. Do not drive a small rental beyond its terms or park on vegetation. There is no reason to force the outing when sea state, heat or road surface is wrong.
