Agios Spyridonas Beach

Agios Spyridonas, often called Baby Beach, is a small sandy shore northeast of the port with shallow water, tamarisk shade and an easy walk from Chora.

Our take

Shallow town-edge water for younger families

Agios Spyridonas sits about 200 metres northeast of Antiparos port, where the channel towards Paros stays relatively protected. Its sandy entry and notably shallow water explain the local nickname Baby Beach. Tamarisk trees shade sections of the back shore, and nearby tavernas make it possible to manage lunch without packing for an isolated beach day.

Shallow does not mean supervision is optional. The beach is narrow, natural shade is quickly claimed, and ferry or small-boat traffic remains part of the wider channel. Keep young children within reach, bring your own shade if the trees are full and avoid spreading belongings across the limited public sand. This is most useful for a short morning swim rather than an all-day escape from town.
