A vast west-coast shore below Lefkada's cliffs
Egremni stretches beneath high white cliffs on Lefkada's southwest coast. Its scale is best understood from the upper approach: even busy boats and visitors occupy only a fraction of the long pale strand.
Land access involves hundreds of steps after the drive, and the return climb is strenuous in heat. Carry little, bring water and never sit against unstable cliff faces. West swell can create a heavy shore break; boats may cancel and the staircase does not make rough water safe.
