Lefkada's most accessible big west-coast beach
Kathisma lies south of Agios Nikitas beneath green slopes, with a long band of coarse pale sand and pebble. Restaurants, pools, loungers and activities make it the west coast's most fully serviced beach.
The sea deepens quickly and breaking waves can be powerful. Respect flags even when others enter. The road is straightforward but traffic and parking queues build sharply in peak hours; arriving early or using a transfer avoids a frustrating descent and climb.
