A long sandy beach below ancient Oinoe
Kampos spreads below the fertile village and the remains of ancient Oinoe, west of Evdilos. It is a long, sandy beach with room to settle beyond the organised sections. Sunbeds and umbrellas appear in summer, while the nearby village adds food and an archaeological stop to a full day in the area.
The beach is popular with families, but official local guidance also warns of frequent strong currents. Treat flags, markers and advice from beach staff seriously, even when the shoreline looks calm. Road access is straightforward compared with many Ikarian coves, though August parking can tighten and the final route across sand is not accessible to every visitor.
