Seychelles Beach

Seychelles is a tiny bright cove reached by a steep rocky path or taxi boat, with no services and limited safe space.

Our take

Marble pebble below Ikaria's south-coast road

Seychelles lies near Magganitis where pale marble fragments and rock shelves brighten a narrow cove. The water is clear and deep, but the shore is much smaller than wide-angle photographs imply.

The land path is steep, loose and exposed; wear closed shoes and travel light. Taxi boats depend on weather. There is no shade or water, and visitors should stay clear of unstable rock faces.

Good to know

Steep path, Taxi boat, No facilities, and Deep water
