Zogeria Beach

Zogeria rewards the long road or boat ride with pine-backed coves and sheltered swimming, but seasonal services remain deliberately limited.

Our take

A remote double bay on Spetses's wooded north coast

Zogeria occupies two adjoining coves on the island's northwestern edge. The larger bay mixes sand and pebble beside a seasonal taverna; the smaller cove feels rougher and quieter. Pine forest reaches close to the water and the mainland-facing position often keeps the sea calmer than exposed southern beaches.

The road journey is long and the final section can be dusty, so a beach boat is the more relaxed option when services are running. Carry water even if you plan to eat at the taverna, confirm the return departure, and do not count on phone reception or full beach-club facilities.
