Agrapidia Beach

Agrapidia is a quiet southern cove reached on foot from Kastos village, with clear water and little infrastructure beyond the island path.

Our take

Walk south for an uncomplicated swim close enough to pair with lunch back at the harbour

Agrapidia is the practical first longer swim for a land-based stay. The walk south passes olive country before reaching a small shore where the water is usually clear and visiting boats may anchor offshore. Go early for shade and calm, then return before the hottest part of the day. Its appeal comes from simplicity, not facilities or a staged beach experience.

Conditions change with wind and boat wash, so judge the water on arrival and never swim into an approach used by tenders. Carry drinking water, footwear, sun protection and everything needed for the return; leave no rubbish. The route can be hot and rough. Ask in the village about its current condition and avoid shortcuts through gates or cultivated land.
