Make a northern walking day around a quiet cove, with enough time and water for the return
Limni gives walkers a reason to continue north beyond the immediate village coves. The journey is as important as the shore: olive groves, open coastal views and the absence of traffic create the island's strongest land-based experience. Start early, confirm the correct fork and turn back if heat, route condition or time makes the return uncertain.
The cove has no dependable support, so carry more water than the map distance suggests, food, sun cover and a basic first-aid kit. Mobile signal should not be treated as guaranteed. The beach is unsupervised and boat traffic may enter the cove. Never light a fire, smoke on dry ground or leave biodegradable waste; the island's fire and waste capacity is limited.
