Antiparos's longest organised beach and quickest drop-off
Soros stretches along the southeast coast about eight kilometres from Chora. It is broader and more developed than the small town beaches, with organised sections, restaurants and enough shoreline to choose between service and a simpler patch of sand or fine pebble. The clear water and south-island setting make it a natural anchor for a day exploring beyond the cave.
Depth increases abruptly near the shore, so Soros is not the island's easiest choice for tentative swimmers or small children. Summer music, restaurant traffic and paid seating also create a busier atmosphere than the landscape first suggests. Ask the price and minimum-spend policy before settling on a lounger, keep to marked swimming zones and use the municipal bus only after checking the last departure back to town.
