Sapou

Sapou sits at the Antiparos harbour edge, serving polished Greek and Mediterranean cooking in a location that works especially well for a first or final island dinner.

Our take

A harbour table for modern Greek plates and seafood

Sapou occupies a seafront position by the harbour, close enough to watch the small ferries work the channel. The kitchen moves beyond a standard port-taverna menu, using Greek ingredients in composed vegetable dishes, seafood and meat plates suited to sharing. It is an attractive introduction to Antiparos because the setting feels connected to arrival without treating the view as a substitute for the food.

Menus and opening periods change with the season, so ask what is fresh rather than planning around an old signature dish. Reserve an outside table in high summer and mention allergies directly when booking; a broad menu does not guarantee a separate preparation area. Harbour-side tables can be breezy and busy at ferry times, while the inner part of the restaurant offers a calmer meal.
