Pollonia goes raw, grilled and by the kilo
Yialos occupies the Pollonia waterfront, where a polished dining room meets fishing boats and the last Kimolos ferry. Chef Achilleas Kamateris mixes pitarakia and cuttlefish stew with tuna tartare, aged amberjack and grouper carpaccio, giving seafood-focused groups more range than a standard grill list.
Whole fish runs from €60 to €90 per kilogram and lobster reaches €115, so request the weight before committing. Reserve ahead, arrive within the 20-minute grace period and ask for separate courses; groups above ten should choose a set menu in advance.
What visitors say
Current official menus document exact fish pricing and reservation rules; 2026 Tripadvisor diners praise snapper, calamari and portions, while some flag pasta-heavy dishes and a high final bill.
