Marble tables, raw prawns, eight hundred wines
Gallina pairs marble tables with a fully exposed kitchen at the Koukaki end of Falirou. George Rekatsinas works between French technique and Greek seafood, while contemporary art and a top-floor private room push the place far from taverna territory.
The à la carte menu covers raw Koilada prawns, fish and dry-aged meat; the cellar lists more than 800 labels. Ask the sommelier to set a ceiling before browsing, reserve the private room well ahead, and keep the order focused because premium cuts and rare bottles lift the bill quickly.
